Social media giant Facebook unveils App Center

Social networking giant Facebook has announced that will be rolling out a new component to its social media ecosystem with the App Center, a new place for its 900 million users to easily find apps. Set to be launched within the next few weeks to be easily accessible to users on the Web, and on the Android and iOS Facebook apps, the App Center will also provide a platform for developers to offer and market their apps.

Create Android apps to beef up mobile marketing

Google has unveiled the App Inventor for Android, a new tool that grants anyone the ability to create apps for devices running on the search engine giant’s mobile operating system Android.
