YouTube gets all the glory when it comes to online video streaming. They serve over a billion streams every single day . They are starting to get mainstream, covering live U2 shows to well, everything they did for the presidential election and the often overlooked fact that they are owned by Sergey and Larry from a somewhat “big” search company.

What many people over look is the fact that there are amazing communities all over the Internet that are using technology that is more advanced, allow for higher quality streams, personalized players and enhanced engagement for watching video online. With the continuing influence of Google’s Universal Search, getting your videos online, and on the right channel can open up your company to more eyeballs, thus a stronger brand with more customers.
